A renowned medical doctor and public health specialist with plenty of experience in research and mentorship, Dr. Tigist is the Founder and General Manager of the Medical Research Lounge Trading PLC, a consultancy and training center dedicated to advancing medical research.

In addition to her leadership at the Medical Research Lounge, Dr. Tigist serves as an Honorary Professor of Public Health in the Department of Internal Medicine at St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College. Here, she mentors postgraduate clinical specialty programs, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Dr. Tigist also chairs the Institutional Research Ethics Review Committee of the Ethiopian Medical Association, underscoring her commitment to ethical standards in medical research.
